Club Championship 2009

Events for the 2009 series are listed below. We will again ring the changes by  introducing events that have been enjoyed by members outside previous Championships whilst still retaining many popular events.  Entry forms are usually in the club file or via the links below. These are popular events and fill quickly so don't  delay in entering.  Some events are also in The York & District Road Race League (RRL)  or part of the Black Sheep Series (BSS).

Rounds

Round 1:  Sun 28th September 2008 - Sutton 7.  A fast, flat very local course. Sutton 7 entry forms

Round 2:  Sat 4 October - Foston & Thornton-le-Clay 10 K. Organised by our own Richard Harrison. Another local event situated close to Castle Howard. See Club Information for full details.

Round 3:  Sun 26th October - Pickering & Moors 10 K.  Entry forms

Round 4:  Sun 23 November - Leeds Abby Dash. Entries only available on line through help the aged. Entry forms

Round 5:  Sun 30 November - Thirsk 10 M. Entry forms

Round 6:  Sun 18th January 2009 - Brass Monkey half marathon. This popular event usually fills very quickly. Entry forms available on the website on 18 October. york knavesmire harriers site EVENT FULL

Round 7:  Sun 22 February  - Snake Lane 10. Another event that will fill quickly. Snake Lane entry form EVENT FULL

Round 8:  Sun 29th March  - Arkendale April Fool 10 K. Local mixed terrain course.

Round 9:  Mon 4th May - Rothwell 10 K. A fast course.

Round 10:  Tues 12 May - Pocklington 10 K. Round 1 of the Road Race League. No entry forms required but you must enter the Road Race League

Round 11:  Tues 26 May - Tadcaster 10 K. Round 2 of the Road Race League.

Round 12: Sun 28 June - Rainton 10 K. Black Sheep Series event.

Round 13: Tues 7 July - Selby 10 K.  Round 5 of the Road Race League.

Round 14: Sun 2 Aug - York 10 K. Jane Tomlinson York City centre event. EVENT FULL

Round 15: Sun 23 Aug - Escrick 10 K. Flat course on minor roads and tracks. 

Round 16: Sun 6 Sept - Tholthorpe 10 K. Traditional closing events of the series.
