Club Championship 2008
 
Events for the 2008 series are listed below. We will again ring the changes by  introducing events that have been enjoyed by members outside previous Championships whilst still retaining many popular events.  Entry forms are usually in the club file or via the links below. These are popular events and fill quickly so don't  delay in entering.  Some events are also in The York & District Road Race League (RRL)  or part of the Black Sheep Series (BSS).

Round 16: Sun 7 September - Tholthorpe 10 K. Traditional end to the championship season.

Round 15: Sun 10 August - Darlington 10 K. Two laps on a flat course in Darlington Town Centre.

Round 14: Sun 27 July - Harrogate 10 K. A two lap hilly course in Harrogate. 

Round 13: Sun 13 July - Kilburn 7. An undulating run based in Kilburn,  close to the White Horse.

Round 12: Tues 1 July - Selby 10 K. Road Race League Round 5.

Round 11: Sat 7 June - Kirkby Malzeard 10 K. (BSS) Between Ripon and Thirsk.

Round 10: Sun 25 May - Melmerby 10 K. (BSS) North of Ripon.

Round 9: Tues 20 May - Tadcaster 10 K . Road Race League  Round 2.

Round 8: Tue 6 May 2008 - Pocklington 10 K.  Road Race League R1.

Round 7: 30 March 2008 - Arkendale 10 K. Only in its 2nd year but proved popular last year with club members. A mixture of tarmac, tracks and some off-road, Arkendale lies between Harrogate and Boroughbridge.  Entry forms: http://www.ukresults.net/08mar.html#arkendale

Round 6: 24 February 2008 - Snake Lane 10. Another popular event, based in Pocklington. Event now FULL.

Round 5: 21 January 2008 - Brass Monkey 1/2 marathon. Ever popular event based at York Racecourse. Event now FULL.

Round 4: 2 December 2007 - Thirsk 10 M. A popular local event normally held in summer. A fast and flat course centred around Thirsk Racecourse. Click Here

Round 3: 25 November 2007 - Leeds Abbey Dash 10 K. A fast town centre 10 K. click here for help the aged website

Round 2:  7 October 2007 - Harewood 10 M. A mixed terrain race over tarmac and tracks around Harewood. click here

Round 1: 9 September 2007 - Sutton 7. A very local 7 mile event over a fast flat course.
