Championship Rules 2011

  EASINGWOLD RUNNING CLUB –

  2011 CHAMPIONSHIP

Easingwold Running Club will promote a 2010 Championship running from September 2010 to September 2011, open to all fully paid up members of Easingwold Running Club.

There will be 16 events with the  best 8 scores to count. There is no minimum number of events to count in the championship.

Members do not have to register for the Championship but must enter events under “Easingwold Running Club” and wear club vests.

Entry forms are available through the organising club’s web site or in the Club file.

The Championship co-ordinator will usually obtain results for each event. However, it is the competitors responsibility to supply their results, which can normally be obtained through the organising club’s web site or UK Results.

There will one Championship table only, as all results will be adjusted for both age and gender.

Events have been chosen for their close proximity to Easingwold and ones that have traditionally been run by club members. Date congestion means some popular events may have to be omitted.

Qualifying events will be announced as soon as possible. Suggestions for events are welcome. Events that have some restriction on members competing will not be included. i.e. our own 10 K road race league event; Great North Run.

Awards will presented for:

 1st 2nd and 3rd overall;  1st Female;  1st in Male and Female age categories, M, M40, M50, M60,
 M70, F , F35, F45, F55, subject to minimum numbers and/or events completed.
Some categories may be combined.

Any notable achievements over the season. i.e. PBs, best improvement etc. will also recognised. The awards will be presented in September/October 2011.
